Meaghan Hicks, Educational Assistant
 
I was born and raised in Richmond, graduating from Steveston Secondary. After living in Ladner for 8 years, I returned to Richmond when I married my husband in 2021. We live in Steveston village with our tabby cat, Ruby.
 
In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family, trying new recipes, going on random weekend adventures with my husband, and travelling (especially to the UK, where my husband is from).
 
I have a diploma in Early Childhood Education from Langara College and completed the Delta Teaching Assistant Certificate program. I have had the pleasure of working with children in a variety of roles for nearly two decades. I have worked in daycares, as a nanny, and more recently as an EA, math and English tutor, and a respite caregiver. I am passionate about ensuring that each child feels safe, loved, and supported and is given the resources and encouragement they need to embrace their uniqueness and reach their full God-given potential.
