Crystal Li, Educational Assistant
I was born and raised in Shanghai, China. I got my Bachelor degree in Finance before I immigrated to Canada. After my immigration, I decided to follow my dream and serve God with my talent working with young children. Since then, I have devoted into early childhood education for around ten years. I have been working as a preschool instructor, support worker, daycare owner etc. with my ECE, Montessori, Special Need and Infant and Toddler training.
I believe each child is precious to God and we are all God’s master pieces.
Throughout my past ten years, I enjoyed being part of the child’s development and seeing them grow. Giving children the freedom to explore and develop to their fullest potential is the best part of the process. I saw each child’s uniqueness and strength in God’s eyes. More importantly, they learn, grow and flourish in their own seasons. Being a close observer, a patient listener and following their lead was what I learned. I cannot wait to join DCS community and serve God with my support as an EA.
In my leisure time, as a mother of two, I love walking along beaches with my family and trying out different recipes. I am also attending a church called Thrive located in Richmond and serving in Children’s Ministry.
