Meaghan Hicks, Educational Assistant
 
I was born and raised in Richmond and made the move south of the tunnel in 2014. I’m now proud to call this special little corner of the world home. I attend Cedar Park Church where I am actively involved, having served as a Freedom Session facilitator, on our Mental Health Action and Support Team, and attending women’s bible study and a life group. I live in Ladner, sharing my home with a quirky little tabby cat named Ruby.
 
In my spare time, I can be found relaxing at the beach, connecting with friends over coffee at one of our local cafes, or trying out new recipes at home.
 
I have a diploma in Early Childhood Education from Langara College and have just completed the Delta Teaching Assistant Certificate program. I have worked with children for over 16 years in a variety of roles and am thrilled to be joining the staff here at DCS. I believe that God has a special plan and purpose for each child and it is my deepest desire to help every child embrace their uniqueness and reach their full God-given potential.
