Mission / Vision

At Delta Christian School, Christian education means: Joining with our Family + Academic Excellence + Christ-like Character. Our theme is to “Equip Children for Life”. This philosophy is summarized in the school’s mission statement:

Equipping children for life through Christ-centred curriculum that promotes intellectual, social, physical and spiritual excellence for the purpose of training our children to serve God and to become faithful stewards of His world.

Delta Christian School offers Christ-centered education built upon academic excellence. We are located in beautiful Ladner, British Columbia. Delta Christian School is a K-7 school serving families from Ladner, the Deltas, Richmond, and neighbouring communities.

Partnering with home, church, and the community, Delta Christian School provides guidance for each student to realize their own Christ-like qualities and equip children for life. We have maintained a high level of academic excellence every year of our more than 70-year history. Delta Christian School consistently places well in the Fraser Institute rankings and surpasses expectations put in place by the BC Ministry of Education. We continue to strive for best practices in education and integrate innovative learning technologies into the classroom.

Students have many opportunities for hands-on learning at DCS through technology, sciences, art, and service projects.

Land Acknowledgement for Delta Christian School

We acknowledge with gratitude that Delta Christian School is situated on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Tsawwassen and Musqueam First Nations, as well as other Coast Salish peoples who have cared for these lands for countless generations.

As a Christian community, we recognise our Creator’s design for all people to live in relationship, peace, and harmony. We commit to walking humbly and respectfully with Indigenous communities—listening, learning, and seeking reconciliation through love and justice.

May we be stewards of this land together, continuing to seek ways to care for it responsibly for future generations.
