School

The School

Located conveniently off Highway 17 and just minutes from the tunnel, Delta Christian School serves families from Tsawwassen, North Delta, Ladner, Richmond, and South Delta. We offer Christ-centered, quality education from kindergarten to grade 7. DCS has a rich 70-year history, starting in 1954 with one teacher and 17 students. In 1994 the school built the current facilities on Ladner Trunk Road and 53rd Street. Our families represent a wide variety of denominations and cultures.

Delta Christian School partners with the home and church to “Equip Children for Life”. This philosophy is summarized in the school mission statement:

Equipping children for life through Christ-centred curriculum that promotes intellectual, social, physical and spiritual excellence for the purpose of training our children to serve God and to become faithful stewards of His world.

Land Acknowledgement for Delta Christian School

We acknowledge with gratitude that Delta Christian School is situated on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Tsawwassen and Musqueam First Nations, as well as other Coast Salish peoples who have cared for these lands for countless generations.

As a Christian community, we recognise our Creator’s design for all people to live in relationship, peace, and harmony. We commit to walking humbly and respectfully with Indigenous communities—listening, learning, and seeking reconciliation through love and justice.

May we be stewards of this land together, continuing to seek ways to care for it responsibly for future generations.
