Admissions Process:
Step 1
The Admissions process begins with the DCS Parent Inquiry Form. If you are interested in enrolment at Delta Christian School please click to submit the DCS Parent Inquiry Form. Please add admissions@deltachristianschool.org to your contact list or check your spam folder to ensure you don’t miss our response to your inquiry.
Step 2
Complete the Admissions Application Package and include all supporting documents. Please submit completed applications by early December, along with the non-refundable application fee of $300 per new family.
Applications may be emailed to admissions@deltachristianschool.org, dropped off at our office, or mailed to our school.
At this time, we are not accepting applications for international students.
Please note:
- Applications are not considered on a first come first served basis. DCS does not have a deadline for applications but we encourage families to have them in by early December.
- Incomplete applications may not be considered – remember to include all supporting documentation.
- If you are applying for grades 1 to 7, include the first report card from our current school year and all three report cards from last school year (except if you are applying for grade 1).
- If you are applying for Kindergarten, please ask your child’s preschool teacher or daycare to complete our confidential Kindergarten Questionnaire. Your preschool/daycare is welcome to complete this and submit this form to us by early January to allow more time for the teachers to get to know your child.
Step 3
All applications will be carefully reviewed by the Admissions Department once submitted. Families will be contacted within one to two weeks of receiving their application.
In January, qualified applicants will be emailed for an interview with the Principal. Multiple factors are considered in the application process with priority placed on:
- Christian families who are attending and involved in a local Bible-based church. We require a pastoral reference and personal testimony of at least one parent.
- Ability of the school to support the needs of the student.
Step 4
Admissions interviews will be in-person and will be conducted in late January and early February. Due to the number of applications anticipated, not all applying families will receive an interview with our Interview Team.
Step 5
Families will be notified of a student’s application status between the middle of February to the middle of March.

Policy on Kindergarten Enrollment and Grade Assignment
At Delta Christian School, we are committed to providing a nurturing and developmentally appropriate educational environment for all students. In alignment with this commitment, our policy regarding kindergarten admission is as follows:
1. Eligibility for Admission
To be considered for admission to our kindergarten program, students must meet the minimum age requirement of being of school age. For Delta Christian School, this means that students would enter kindergarten in the year that they turn 5 years old. Delta Christian School does not offer early admission to kindergarten. This policy is in place to maintain consistency and fairness in our admissions process.
2. Grade Assignment
Students will be assigned to grades based on their birth year, ensuring that each child is placed in the grade level that corresponds with their age. This approach is designed to promote an age-appropriate learning environment and to support the educational and social development of each student.
Our goal is to create a supportive and enriching environment where every child can thrive. Delta Christian School strives to meet the needs of all students within their assigned grade. The school administration has full authority to determine the grade placement of all students at Delta Christian School.
