Lorie Salazar, Grade 3 Teacher
My name is Lorie Salazar and I am proud to call myself a Delta Dolphin. I am an international teacher from Honduras, where my teaching journey started with serving Kindergarten for 3 years. In 2016 I moved to North Carolina where I taught grade 2 for 6 years. In December 2021, I moved to Vancouver, where I currently live. I have had the honor of teaching at Delta Christian School since March 2022, I have enjoyed my time in this wonderful community. I already know most of the students I’ll be working with this upcoming school year.
What I love about Delta Christian School is that both students and staff can freely share their faith in Christ with one another. I love that DCS teachers focus on Christ and His word in all areas of study. I truly enjoy getting to bring the gospel into everyday conversations with students and having opportunities to pray with staff and students.
