Marilyn Belsham, Librarian and Digital Communications
 
I spent the first half of my childhood growing up in a village near Smithers, BC in the Interior, before moving to Nanaimo where I graduated high school. I moved to Ladner in 1997 and now live here with my husband and our two children.
 
I’ve had a lot of different careers before settling on being a librarian including being a surveyor, airline employee, business analyst, parenting blogger, and I ran my own company designing websites for small companies. However, everything fell into place career-wise when I decided to attend Langara College where I received my Library & Information Technology Diploma.
 
Prior to coming to Delta Christian School, I worked at White Rock Christian Academy. I’m excited to work with the students of Delta Christian in the library, teaching them library and reference skills, in an environment that allows for growth and exploration of their Christian values.
